(A) Experimental design of the anti-IL-1β antibody study in the FOP mouse model. Mice received weekly intraperitoneal injections beginning at P27 (day 0) of either vehicle (saline), <t>IgG2A</t> isotype control antibody, or the anti-IL-1β monoclonal antibody 01BSUR (10 mg/kg). Trauma-induced HO was generated using a ball-drop injury model applied to the right hind limb at P28. HO formation was quantified by µCT at day 21. Created with Biorender.com.
